It is the document which permits foreigners
to enter in Spain. It have to be applied

types of visas are there?

own business or to work as freelance worker.
e) VISA FOR STUDENTS, it is applied for to stay
in Spain with the purpose of undertaking studies,
research or training.
3. Who does not need a Visa?
In principle, every foreigner wanting to enter
in Spain needs a visa, except those who are
in one of the following situations:
a) Those people who want to stay in Spain up
to three months (within a period of time of
six months) do not need a Visa if they are from:
Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bolivia,
Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cyprus,
Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Slovakia,
Slovenia, The United States, Estonia, Guatemala,
Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Latvia,
Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico,
Monaco, Nicaragua, Norway, New Zealand, Panama,
Paraguay, Poland, Czech Republic, Rep of Korea,
Rumania, San Marino, The Holy See, Singapore,
Switzerland, Uruguay, Venezuela, Hong Kong Special
Administrative Regions of People’s Republic
of China and Macao and those countries which
belong to the European Union.
b) Those who are considered refugees.
c) Stateless persons and people under exceptional
circumstances considered by the Spanish Government.
